The Tapeworm, 2018
part 3 of the Trilogy of Terror series
Four Years
In four years
The transformation was near completion
You were changing me
Through endless stories
and little lies
But it was through bodily exchange
Where I felt you
But I couldn't accept you from behind
Instead I welcomed you orally
I thought it would just past
Instead it incubated
And became alive inside me
Feeding
Growing
Wasting
I was infected by you
Slowly,
I was becoming you
I tried to protect myself before entering
But you insisted it had to be raw
It couldn't be stopped
The tapeworm took over me
And I was enslaved
Dedicated to you
Until now
I was you
Thinking
Acting
Talking like you
But I physically fought back
And expelled you from my body
You could never hurt me again
But unfortunately
I can still feel you
As your first host,
the original body
Is trying impregnate
Younger and similar versions of me.
It's lost
Searching for a host
Because it couldn't let go of its former skin
I go on
Losing blood
And shedding skin
As the metamorphosis begins
I will hurt no more
